Cursus Myoclonus and other jerky movements

On the 13th  and 14th of October, a teaching course on ‘Myoclonus and other Jerky Movements’  took place in the UMCG. This course, organised by Movement Disorders Groningen, paid attention to these less well-known movement disorders.

The purpose of the course was to provide information about these disorders to neurologists and other treating physicians in order to achieve better treatments in this patient population. During the two days international experts shared their knowledge on different aspects of these disorders with a very international audience. The lectures were almost invariantly characterised by a high level and lively discussions afterwards. Furthermore, recent scientific developments were presented by young investigators.
